Every year, on the 19th of April, people gather here at this beautiful memorial to remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those who were changed forever, to commemorate the strength of the community that came together in the face of such great loss, and to celebrate the resilience that makes Oklahoma City a model for communities everywhere.
And every year on this day, wherever I am, I reflect on the loss so many of you endured – the loss that you continue to endure.

Washington, DC - Jon Schaffer, 53, of Columbus, Indiana, Friday admitted that he breached the Capitol on January 6, 2021, wearing a tactical vest and armed with bear repellent, and pleaded guilty to unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol to obstruct Congress’ certification of the U.S. presidential election results. On this 100th day since the horrific January 6 assault on the United States Capitol, Oath Keepers member Jon Schaffer has pleaded guilty to multiple felonies, including for breaching the Capitol while wearing a tactical vest and armed with bear spray, with the intent to interfere with Congress’ certification of the Electoral College results, said Acting Deputy Attorney General John P. Justice Department Reaches Settlement with Arizona School District to Protect English Learner Students Published: 22 April 2021 22 April 2021
Coolidge, Arizona - Monday the Justice Department announced a settlement agreement with the Coolidge Unified School District to resolve the department’s investigation into the school district’s programs for its English learner students. The department’s investigation of the district found system-wide failures to provide the instruction, resources and teacher training that students need to master English, leaving them to struggle academically year after year.
The department conducted its investigation under the Equal Educational Opportunities Act of 1974.
“Every child deserves an equal opportunity to excel in school. Where there are language barriers, schools have an obligation to do more to put students on an equal footing,” said Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pamela S. Karlan of the Justice Department’
